Cultural and morphological characterisation of Colletotrichum fragrans of dracaena using various nutrient sources along with fungicide sensitivity tests

Dracaena, is an ornamental plant which helps in air purification. The foliage damaged by innumerable diseases. Various carbon containing media viz. Potato dextrose agar, Peptone salt Czepek’s Dox Agar, Agar medium was replaced the same amount of sucrose and lactose Oat meal agar used to study radial growth Colletotrichum fragrans from Dracaena. Among these six media, most effective for its rapid medium. Also, morphological characters differed with change constituents, wherein found be production acervuli, conidia, setae higher dimensions. Bioassay conducted using four fungicides Blitox, Mancozeb, Chlorothalonil Difenoconazole different concentrations, EC50 value 299.2µ/ml gave best results. in-vivo studies confirmed that could inhibit diseased lesion effectively than others.
